Owen Julian McKinnon

Owen was born on September 23rd, 2021. Though Owen's life was brief—just 8 precious weeks, all spent in the hospital—his impact is everlasting. Owen passed away from Alveolar Capillary Dysplasia (ACD), a rare and devastating lung condition that leads to fatal pulmonary hypertension.

In his memory, we, Victoria and Daniel McKinnon, created this website to honor Owen’s story, navigate our grief, and, most importantly, to raise awareness and funds for the Children's Hospital. Our hope is to help save other children and families from this heartbreaking journey.
